Rhino is the biggest, for groups of up to 300 cocktail party guests, 200 sit-down banquet guests or 350 conference delegates.
Hippo is perched on wooden stilts, has a large lawn and will accommodate 150 delegates in comfort.
Warthog is the ideal breakaway room for up to 30 delegates.
Wise Owl is an open-air venue that is also ideal as a discussion or breakaway room for up to 15 delegates.
Accommodation for Your Event Guests
If you are planning a multi-day event at our events venue, or you have a year-end function and you do not wish your guests to travel afterwards or at night, you would be pleased to learn that we have comfortable accommodation for them:

Our Vaal River Year End Function Venue Caters For All

Function Venues
At our lodge, there is a year end function venue for every group size, requirement and taste:
- Bushman’s Bar is our smallest venue with space for twenty people; it is private and away from the main entertainment area and has its own private bar.
- Hippo is larger and can accommodate seventy people. It is also away from the entertainment area and has a wooden deck all around where you can enjoy a drink and witness the setting sun.
- Elephant is situated at the main entertainment area and can accommodate groups of up to 140 people, complete with sun deck and private bar.
- Rhino is the largest venue at our main entertainment area and can accommodate 200 sitting banquet guests or 300 cocktail party guests.
Lots to Do
There is a lot to do at our year end function venue too, and you may find yourself returning with your staff for a team-building weekend, once you have seen some of the team-building activities we have on offer. These have all been designed by qualified facilitators, who oversee all activities to ensure that the interpersonal dynamics are utilised in such a way as to promote trust, teamwork and bonding.
