We have several spaces available for corporate functions of varying sizes, but our variety is not our biggest draw card; our location is arguably the clincher. Our function and accommodation venue is situated on the banks of the roaring Vaal River in a tranquil and natural environment where corporate groups can relax and let the creative juices flow. Conveniently, it is also ideal for Gauteng businesses, because it is hardly an hour’s drive from Johannesburg.
Four Dedicated Function Spaces
We have four dedicated spaces that are ideal for all manner of corporate functions:
- Bushman’s Bar: this is the smallest function space for a maximum of twenty people under thatch, seated. There is a wooden deck, evening entertainment area and private dining area, as well as a private boma campfire area.
- Hippo: a larger venue with space for up to seventy people, set well away from the main entertainment area. The elegant wood and glass construction is situated on the edge of the Vaal and you can enjoy beautiful sunsets from the private deck.
- Elephant: up to 140 people can be accommodated, seated ten per table around fourteen tables in this expansive area that is also used to serve meals when not in use as a function venue. It is situated right at the main entertainment area and has a spacious stage, sun deck and “Cigar Lounge”, as well as a pool table and bar.
- Rhino: even large banquets can be hosted in this space under thatch that will accommodate up to 200 banquet guests or even 300 for more informal gatherings like cocktail functions. It is also situated at the main entertainment area and boasts an extended sun deck.
While you are here, we will also accommodate you in comfort in the log cabins and guesthouses we have on the premises, so you can easily host multi-day corporate functions.
